This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Profitility mobile and web application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Grindstone Holdings LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

This Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

 


1. Purpose of the Service

Profitility is a financial recordkeeping and analytics platform designed for independent delivery contractors to track:

  • Delivery earnings, tips, and expenses

  • Mileage and route performance

  • Profitability estimates and historical performance

  • Tax and financial recordkeeping tools

Intended Use:

The Service is intended solely for lawful personal business management, recordkeeping, and tax documentation purposes.

 


2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service in any manner that violates this Policy or applicable law.

2.1 Violations of Law

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate local, state, federal, or international laws or regulations

  • Facilitate tax fraud, misrepresentation, or falsified deductions

  • Assist in illegal financial reporting or tax evasion

 


2.2 Fraudulent Financial Activity

You may not:

  • Manipulate, falsify, or fabricate delivery, earnings, or expense records

  • Generate fraudulent tax documentation

  • Misrepresent earnings for loans, credit, benefits, or financial applications

  • Create misleading or deceptive financial statements

 


2.3 Platform Abuse or Misuse

You may not:

  • Violate the terms of any delivery or gig platform

  • Misrepresent affiliation with any third-party platform

  • Upload fabricated delivery offers or manipulated screenshots

  • Use automated tools to simulate delivery activity

 


2.4 Reverse Engineering & Technical Exploitation

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

  • Attempt to extract source code, algorithms, or analytics models

  • Bypass subscription paywalls or access controls

  • Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities

  • Circumvent authentication or security measures

 


2.5 Data Scraping & Automation

You may not:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to access the Service

  • Extract bulk financial, platform, or user data

  • Mirror, replicate, or redistribute the Service

  • Monetize data outputs without express written authorization

 


2.6 Commercial Resale or Licensing Misuse

The Service is licensed for individual independent contractor use only.

You may not:

  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service

  • Offer Profitility as part of a commercial service bureau

  • Provide large-scale financial reporting services using exported data without authorization

 


2.7 Account Misuse

You may not:

  • Share login credentials

  • Maintain multiple fraudulent accounts

  • Impersonate another individual

  • Use false or misleading identity information

You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.

 


2.8 Abuse of Beta or Promotional Access

You may not:

  • Exploit free trials, beta access, or promotional offers for commercial gain

  • Attempt to bypass subscription conversion requirements

  • Abuse system limits or testing environments

The Company may revoke promotional or beta access at its discretion.

 


3. Data Integrity & Accuracy

  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all submitted information.

  • OCR extraction may contain errors.

  • Profit calculations are estimates only.

  • Tax reports require independent verification.

  • The Service should not be relied upon as the sole source for regulatory, financial, or tax compliance without review by a qualified professional.

 


4. Security Violations

You may not attempt to:

  • Gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems

  • Interfere with system performance or availability

  • Disrupt servers, databases, or network infrastructure

  • Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code

Such activity may result in immediate termination, legal action, and reporting to appropriate authorities.

 


5. Enforcement & Remedies

Violation of this Policy may result in, at the Company’s sole discretion:

  • Warning notices

  • Feature restrictions

  • Account suspension

  • Account termination

  • Revocation of promotional or beta access

  • Legal action where applicable

The Company reserves the right to determine violations and enforce remedies in its sole discretion.

 


6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of misuse of the Service, please report concerns to:

support@profitility.app

 


7. Modifications to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy to reflect:

  • Changes to Service functionality

  • Security enhancements

  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Notice may be provided through:

  • In-app notification

  • Email

  • Updated Effective Date

Continued use of the Service after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

 


8. Relationship to Other Agreements

This Policy should be read in conjunction with:

  • Terms of Service

  • Privacy Policy

  • Subscription Terms

  • Tax & Financial Disclaimer

  • End User License Agreement (EULA)

In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.
